I-75 north from the Detroit area to Grayling; M-72 West to Kalkaska; north on US 131 to Mancelona;
west from Mancelona on M-88 to Bellaire. At the 3-way stop in downtown Bellaire, continue west on county road 620
to Clam Lake rd. Left on Clam Lake rd. approximately 3 miles to Lynn Road – turn left. Sandy Bottom is located
at the first curve in the road you come to. The public access site is directly left of the cottage.
from Chicago
I-94 east from the Chicago area; at Benton Harbor, turn onto I-196 north to Grand Rapids; follow US 131 north to
Mancelona; west from Mancelona on M-88 to Bellaire. At the 3-way stop in downtown Bellaire, continue west on county
road 620 to Clam Lake rd approximately 3 miles to Lynn Road – turn left. Sandy Bottom is located at the first curve
in the road you come to. The public access site is directly left of the cottage.
